Republican Women

Local Women Promoting Republican Ideals & Candidates
The Holmes County Republican Women is a club for all Republican Women in Holmes County that wish to take an active role in the support of Republican candidates for office at the local, state and national level. The HCRW works at the local level, through a variety of activities, to further the cause of conservative values and to increase community awareness of Republican candidates. This is a working group, meeting to plan, coordinate and implement a number of events to financially assist candidates and the Republican Party.
We invite women that affirm Republican beliefs and want to become involved in the political process to join us and work to make our community, state and nation a place where the most effective, responsible and responsive government is the government closest to the people.
Republican Principles
  • I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.
  • I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.
  • I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought the nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.
  • I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.
  • I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.
  • I BELIEVE the most effective responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.
  • I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.
  • I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.
  • FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
As a member of the Holmes County Republican Women, you will also become a member of the Ohio Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) and the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW).
You will be part of our local organization that supports our Holmes County Republican Party, and you will also receive information about local, state, and national events, projects and speakers.
The NFRW, founded in 1938, has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization recruits and elects Republican candidates, advocates the Party's philosophy and initiatives, and empowers women in the political process.
